kale chips

My post on sprouts received some Like’s so I decided to post a similar recipe.

I had never heard of kale growing up.  Now I have to be careful not to eat more than my system can handle

Wash and tear into bite sized pieces, removing any thick stems

Dry lightly

Add some salt and 1 Tablespoon olive oil – toss to coat

Spread on baking sheet in single layer

Bake at 300 until crispy, 10-20 minutes.

For variety, add spice(s) of your choice before tossing. I love them with cumin seeds.

I can’t wait for my son to be old enough to bake and cook with him.
